Pilates with Maja

Pilates sessions designed to build strength, improve posture, and bring more ease into everyday life.

About Pilates Sessions

At the heart of my Pilates sessions are a few guiding values that define my teaching style and the experience I want to create. They are the foundation of everything I do — the quiet principles that bring intention, clarity, and depth into each session.

Movement

It´s about moving with intention, precision, and ease. It builds strength, creates space, and brings the body back into quiet alignment.

Femininity

Pilates can express femininity through fluid lines, calm control, and the quiet power of moving with intention.

Discipline

Through discipline, Pilates becomes more than exercise. It becomes a refined form of self-care.

Confidence

Confidence grows when the body feels strong, supported, and in control.

my philosophy

Pilates is where this starts for me but never where it ends.

My approach is thoughtful and refined. I want each session to feel like a reset: a space where breath, control, and flow come together naturally. Rather than chasing perfection, I guide my clients toward presence. Rather than pushing harder, we work smarter. The goal is not only to shape the body, but to create more ease, confidence, and clarity in the way you move through life.

I see Pilates as a practice that meets you exactly where you are. Whether you are beginning your journey or deepening an existing one, each movement can be adapted to support your body, your energy, and your rhythm. Over time, this practice becomes something quiet but powerful,
a foundation for better posture, greater stability, and a more graceful relationship with yourself.

For me, Pilates is where discipline meets softness, and where structure creates freedom. It is a practice of refinement, connection, and embodied strength — one that extends far beyond the studio.

Good to know

The difference to Yoga

People confuse Pilates with yoga all the time – and honestly, I get why.
If you’ve never done either one, they can look almost the same from the outside: a teacher, a studio, a mat, controlled movement, breathing, and a calm atmosphere.
That’s exactly why so many people think they’re basically the samt thing.
But the actual focus is different.

Pilates is much more about leraning how to control ans support your body well. It focuses a lot on stability, alignment, muscle activation, core control and precise movement. So instead of just „doing an exercise“, Pilates often teaches you how to feel what you’re doing, which muscles are working, and how to move with more control. Yoga can also be physical, but it often places much more emphasis on breath, flexibility, stillness, meditation, and the connection between boy and mind.

So if I had to explain it simply:
Pilates helps you understand how to control and support your body. Yoga often helps you connect more deeply with your breath, your mind, and your body as a whole. That’s why they can overalp – but they’re definitely not the same thing.
What did you think the difference was before? Or did you also think they were basically the same?
